Axial Structural’s 2VTT technology is emerging as one of the leading solar trackers chosen by customers around the world for their new PV projects. This is demonstrated by the more than 250MW awarded to Axial in 2VTT projects in Spain in the first half of 2023 alone.
Specifically, it will be used in up to five projects to be developed in different parts of Spain, strengthening the Valencian company’s national presence.
These are both supply and installation and supply projects, for which Axial has designed specific solutions to adapt to the different characteristics and needs of its customers.
In addition to these new works with 2VTT, of which more details will be available soon, there are also those to be carried out in other countries, as well as those planned to be developed during the second half of the year.
2VTT Technology
The 2VTT is part of the AxialTracker range and features an innovative multi-point stiffening system. In this way, the 2VTT technology provides an increase in operating speed, which in turn means multiplying the safety and efficiency of the tracker, ensuring maximum product quality.
The geometry of the tracker is perfectly adapted to the bifacial technology, in addition to the new total locking technology. This results in up to 40% higher operating speed.
