The company partners with thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe, El Puig to use thyssenkrupp Steel Europe’s bluemint® recycled steel.
Axial continues its commitment to a business model based on respect and care for the environment. In order to contribute to the decarbonization of the planet, the Spanish company has signed a collaboration agreement with tk MPE El Puig to use bluemint® recycled steel from thyssenkrupp Steel Europe.
Thanks to this agreement, the company specialized in the design, manufacture and operation of trackers for utility-scale photovoltaic projects will use this steel produced with a reduction in CO2 emissions to the atmosphere in the manufacture of its trackers.

Certified low-emission steel
Certified by TÜV SÜD (VERIsteel standard), recycled steel reduces CO2 emissions by around 1.35 tons per ton produced. That is 64% of what would normally be produced.
It is a top-quality material with the same properties as the steel used so far. But now, with the improvement of offering a more sustainable production by achieving a significant reduction of CO2 emissions.
In addition, the steel is produced with higher proportions of material already used and discarded to reduce the input of ore and coke, which also contributes to the conservation of the planet.
Axial has already begun manufacturing and supplying its first projects with this new ecological steel.
