Axial Structural participated last January 17 in the commissioning of a new photovoltaic plant in Spain. A job done for its client Statkraft for which it used its main product, the Axial Tracker 2VTT.
This is Talayuela II, a plant located in Cáceres, for which the Valencian company supplied 55MW.
The plant, which occupies an area of 115 hectares, will generate 110GWh of clean energy per year. Thanks to this, around 34,000 homes will be supplied and the emission of more than 21,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere will be avoided.

The following video, provided by Statkraft, shows from a drone view this new work of Axial in Spain, a market in which the company continues to be the undisputed leader:
2VTT Technology
The 2VTT is part of the AxialTracker range and features an innovative multi-point stiffening system. In this way, the 2VTT technology provides an increase in operating speed, which in turn means multiplying the safety and efficiency of the tracker, ensuring maximum product quality.
The geometry of the tracker is perfectly adapted to the bifacial technology, in addition to the new total locking technology. This results in up to 40% higher operating speed.
