The company leads the Dutch market as a leading manufacturer of ground mounting systems
Axial Structural has announced the signing of a contract to supply a total of 260MW in new fixed structure projects in the Netherlands. Backed by its extensive experience in the country, the Valencian company leads the Dutch market as the main manufacturer of ground mounting systems.
Specifically, it has supplied or supplied and installed a total of eight projects. Among them are two of the largest photovoltaic plants built in the Netherlands, with 75MW and 65MW.
2023 is being characterized by a powerful deployment throughout Europe of Axial, which has already advanced that in the last quarter of the year will close the award of new projects in large-scale plants both in Europe and Latin America.
Specialized solutions for complex terrain
Axial’s Chief Sales Officer, Antonio Robredo, highlighted the important work that the engineering team has done to offer its customers optimal technical solutions with the highest levels of safety. “We are talking about a country that is characterized by the difficulty of its soils, which have a high level of corrosion and a low bearing capacity. The solutions we have designed for each project provide us with the absolute certainty that our structures are perfectly suited to the requirements of the different areas”.
In this regard, one of the projects being worked on is particularly noteworthy, as it is located on land that was completely submerged under water until just a few decades ago.
On the other hand, the weather has also been a challenge for Axial, which, as in all its projects, has adapted to specific requests by working closely with each client to design ad hoc structures.
International presence
Since its creation, the company has continued to expand in international markets and is currently a benchmark in the design and development of trackers and fixed structures worldwide.
Among the main milestones for 2023 is the supply of 375MW of the largest photovoltaic plant built to date in the United Kingdom, a country where it already has 2GW in fixed structural systems alone.
Another of Axial‘s big bets for this year is its opening to the Saudi Arabian market, where it has made its first foray with the supply of a 60MW solar plant.
With a presence in almost all continents, Axial also has projects in France, Ireland, Poland, Italy, the Caribbean, Portugal, Hungary and, of course, Spain.
